Foods to Avoid:

Dairy- I don’t eat dairy for a few reasons. The primary reason is for my completion. I find that dairy makes me break out. It is also full of saturated fat, is linked to heart disease and causes digestive problems for the 75 percent of people.

Substitutions:

Corn- It highly inflammatory, which means it can cause a range of health issues, including type 2 diabetes, autoimmune disease, leaky gut, and more. As if that wasn't enough, corn is also high-glycemic, which means it causes blood sugar spikes.

Substitutions:

Gluten-Gluten contributes to leaky gut, and if you know anything about leaky gut then you know that feeling your best and healthiest starts with a healthy gut. Gluten causes Inflammation, Increased Intestinal Permeability, Increased Vulnerability to Gut Autoimmunity, Damage to the Gut Biome…so yeah. Lets not eat it.

Substitutions:

Soy: It is bad for the environment and bad for you hormones and gut. Soy contains plant estrogens in the form of isoflavones which effectively raise your estrogen levels and therefore lowers your testosterone levels. Those hormones are in competition so more of one means less of the other.
